01WELCOME
For the most part humanity has almost always prevailed in the face of extinction. However, there are some forces even the human race cannot face alone. It would seem that nature responded. The natural change in human anatomy occurred. Apparently, mankind has a biological buffer when it comes to dealing with something that is inhuman. When the Jupiterians invaded a few humans exhibited extraordinary abilities while some, following suite, dressed up like costumed heroes in order to defend the Earth. The aliens were defeated. Now that the heroes have been used up they have been thrown away. Laws were made to outlaw costumes and masks being worn with the intention of being a super hero the or vigilante. With the heroes out out of the way villains and evil doers have taken their place. In order to defend freedom once more the guardians of peace must fight but evade capture. Some heroes refuse to fight for humanity after the betrayal and some stick to their virtues. Will you stay true to the virtue or will you accept a new vice?

PLOTTING/COMMUNICATION/WANTED ADS (4 sub-boards) Come here to perform plotting, put out wanted ads for characters and communicating with characters via the internet, phone and email.
FACTION DISCUSSION (6 sub-boards) Each faction has their own message board to discuss possible faction plots and suggestions. This is an out of character forum.

MANHATTAN
GROUND ALPHA This is the place where the aliens first landed. It is a memorial site. Not many come here. Some say, at night, the souls of the dead still walk here. However, that is just a rumor.
UPTOWN AND MIDTOWN (7 sub-boards) Madison Square Garden, the Empire State Building, NYPD Headquarters and many, MANY major attractions are located here. Also, the All-Stars secret headquarters are located here as well.
ATTRACTIONS (8 sub-boards) Central Park, Subways, Citi Field (Home of the Mets), Statue of Liberty, Coney Island Theme Park, Bronx Zoo and many more attractions can be found here.
DOWNTOWN (6 sub-boards) The Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, Queen, Staten Island and China Town are located here. The Silhouettes also call downtown home. They can be found at Hell's Kitchen which is a very poor section of downtown.
NEW YORK HARBOR (3 sub-boards) This harbor brings in loads of fishing revenue and imports. However, this is also the stomping grounds for the New Dawn as well. It isn't wise to be a hero coming around these parts. The Dawn has a long history of kidnapping and killing anybody remotely resembling a hero. On top of that, the Dawn also runs drug operations out of this harbor. NYPD (New York Police Department) is onto the Dawn but doesn't have the proof necessary to do a drug bust.
EARTH'S ATMOSPHERE This is Earth's atmosphere. This is a dangerous place to be. Well, of course, without air one couldn't breathe. Some say the aliens still lurk in stealth avoiding humanity's best methods of detection of unidentified flying objects.

HERMES INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION This is the international space station originally built by Captain Tomorrow for the use of observing into deep space outside of Earth's atmosphere. Of course, since the banishment of heroes and all like them the world's governments confiscated Captain Tomorrow's space station.
